Aonghus is a man of many labels – Schoolteacher, Coach – but above all he is a Greek God of Athleticism (his own words). You might say he is quite well known on the marathon circuit, if you listened to what he said and repeated it verbatim, and is currently in training for his next one. He attempts to play rugby for Rathdrum as well as Gaelic Football for Avondale.
Only recently (April), he sustained a dislocated shoulder while playing GAA. As a teenager, Aonghus beat our very own Alex Grey, the current King of Greystones in not one but TWO cross-country races. Now, for the first time ever, Aonghus has come to take the title for himself.
